What is interesting is that the executive said "the individual is no longer with the company", which is interesting for two reasons.



First, it appears that AOL outsources its call center operations, so the individual in question never was "with the company in the first place". Saying he was fired was obviously dishonest.



Second, it is so typical that an executive would trumpet a firing as proof that the problem has been fixed.

i woul like cancel my aol account

I hope someone sends everything related to this outrage finds its way into academic papers on the breakdown of rules of engagement between humans, especially buyers and sellers. The sellers have too much power when they can abuse buyers and suffer no serious consequences.

ME:No i just wanted a different type of program.

ME:Positive.



AOL:Because you can always get a new computer or try updating your software.



ME:I do not want any more expenses, please cancel the account.

ME:I dont want any advise. cancel the account. its easy and i want it done! cancel my account.

after i was billed for a 2 months after the call until i finnaly cancelled my cedit card on a phone call that was much easier!

My AOL account never worked on my computer so why am I getting charged for it...That is whack!
